What went well during this process was that I had managed to find an advisor to work with that given all the information that was needed and other information on top of that that was added to the site to try and make it better. What had not gone so well was that I had started later than everyone else just because I had to change the advisor I was working with a couple of times. A couple of suggestions for next year would be to give a little more time for students to work on the project to insure that the students get their work done on time, with all or almost all of the information added that is supposed to be there.

The sections that I believe I am the most proud of are the home page and the About Spanish Class page. They both provide enough information on the page and the needed information for students.
The home page, Bienvendios, greets the students that come onto the page. it is written in both spanish and english for the student. There are also two pictures on the page. The first one is a little joke comic picture. It is at the top of the page, kind of like to welcome the students with a little laugh. The second picture is under all the text. It is a picture of the spanish flag.

The next page would be the About Spanish Class page. There is more than enough information on the page to tell the students about the class. It talks about everything from homework, to arriving on time, to the rules of the class. There is also a picture at the top of the page. It shows the spanish culture, with everything from food to dancing and there are 16 small pictures put into one picture and it shows the whole spanish culture.

This week I accomplished adding content to two of the three pages added to my advisor’s site. Also, I had changed one of the pages and had made it into a category and added information onto that as well.

Make sure you look at the page About Your Spanish Class, as there is finally information added onto the page. There is quite a bit of information added on and it is very informative. Also, make sure you look at the category Spanish Opportunities as there is information added there as well.

Next, I plan on hopefully finishing up the site and being done with it, with all the needed content and also helpful content that will help the students for next year.

I have completed adding most of the needed content to the page, as well as adding content to all 5 pages on my advisor’s page. I am now trying to finish the site with all the needed information so I can be done with it.

This week I accomplished adding the last 3 needed pages. There is no content on them yet, as I am still waiting for my advisor to email me and tell me the content she wants added to this page. But the 3 pages are up and waiting for the needed content to be added.

Make sure you look at the 3 newest pages added onto my advisor’s site as it says what type of content is going to be added to the page. Also, look under the Spanish Activities page, as the 5 widgets are all added and are finally all working.

What I plan to work on next is to get the needed content for those three pages and have it all added and to also add something for social interaction part of the project.

My current to do list for the project is to finish adding that little bit of needed content and to add to continue adding whatever is needed to be able to finish this project. My long-term goal is to finish this project by the time it is due so it will hopefully be ready for next year for my advisor and so it will be helpful for the students for next year.

This week I managed to accomplish with almost completely catching up with the rest of the class. I just have to add about 3 more pages and some more content and then I will have caught up.

Make sure you look at the About and Spanish Activities pages as there is content on both of them. I think these two pages came out the best so far.

What I plan to work on next is to add the remaining needed pages and to put needed content onto these pages so they helpful and useful.

My complete to do list so far is that I had gotten a background theme and a picture onto the site, along with a heading that is useful. I also had put up two helpful pages so far. My current to do list is to finish adding the rest of the pages and to add more usability techniques so the site will to helpful to everyone who visits it.

This week I managed to accomplish getting the site started for Mrs. Elgart. I am still in the process of working on it and putting more needed information onto it, but I had started it and put some information on.

Next week I plan to work on the site more and put more useful information onto it, so I can be caught up with the rest of the class. I plan to work on putting widgets and more pages on the site.

My complete list so far is putting up a theme and a picture cropped into the background that has something to do with my advisor. My current to-do list is to put more pages up along with widgets so it is easier to move around the site to find needed and wanted information.

My other thoughts are that I wish I wasn’t behind the rest of the class, just because I have to catch up with everything everyone else has done already.
